Our buggy safari itinerary

Starting Point: Parking of the Peninsula Resort & Spa, Agia Pelagia. Check-in, safety briefing & short driving introduction.

Stop 1: Rodia Village โ€“ Panoramic View Stop
Drive towards the traditional mountain village of Rodia and enjoy a short photo stop with
spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea stretching all the way to Heraklion.
A second short stop near the Tower of Modino offers more insight into the area and its history.

Stop 2: Achlada โ€“ Olive Oil Mill & Ghost Village
Visit a traditional olive oil mill with a guided tour explaining ancient and modern production methods, followed by a free tasting of olive oil and local products.
Continue with a guided walk through a nearby ghost village, frozen in time and surrounded by
mountain scenery.
Finally, enjoy a scenic drive through olive groves, dirt tracks and quiet mountain roads. Along the way,
keep an eye out for local wildlife such as sheep, goats and birds of prey.

Stop 3: Fodele Village
Free time in the lush riverside village of Fodele, birthplace of El Greco.
Explore local shops, walk through the village or taste the famous freshly squeezed orange juice.

Return to Agia Pelagia
